Update - REOPENED: Tensas Bayou Bridge, LA 580 east of Epps in East Carroll Parish
(UPDATE 10/05/2023): DOTD advises motorists that the Tensas Bayou Bridge on LA 580 in East Carroll Parish has been REOPENED. We appreciate your patience while this work was underway.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, the Tensas Bayou Bridge on LA 580, east of Epps in East Carroll Parish will be closed at approximately 2.00 miles east of LA 877.
This LA 580 bridge closure is anticipated to last 2 weeks, and should be reopened Friday, October 6, 2023.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
Permit/Detour:
The detour route will be LA 580, LA 877, and LA 577.
