*NOW OPEN* BRIDGE CLOSURE: Tack Allen Road in Ouachita Parish

Update 2/7/2024: Effective immediately, Tack Allen Road is now OPEN to traffic.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, August 21, 2023, Tack Allen Road will be closed approximately .64 miles East of LA 557, in Ouachita Parish.
The purpose of this bridge closure is for a bridge replacement.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
PERMIT/DETOUR:
The detour route will be posted by the Ouachita Parish Police Jury.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
