LA 737 (North Portage Highway) at the Grand Canal Bridge, St. Martin Parish, Bridge Closure

LA 737 (North Portage Highway) at the Grand Canal Bridge, located approximately 1.45 miles east of LA 686, will be closed beginning Monday, August 14 at 7:00 a.m. for approximately 8 weeks, weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for a bridge replacement project.
The detour consists of LA 686 and local roads. Detour signs will be posted.
Emergency vehicles will not have access through the area.
