UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 517 near Bryceland, Bienville Parish

Original notification:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, August 14, 2023, the LA 517 bridge over an unnamed creek near Bryceland in Bienville Parish will be closed for necessary repair.
This closure is anticipated to last approximately 12 days.
This bridge is located approximately 3.89 miles north of the intersection with LA 9 (see included map).
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: LA 516 or US 80.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
