Alternating lane closures: I-10 EB & WB between MM 10 and MM 23 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be nightly alternating lane closures along Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound between Mile Marker 10 and Mile Marker 23, starting 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2023, until 5 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2023.
Closures are 8 p.m.-5 a.m. nightly. This section of the interstate will be reduced to one lane during the scheduled closure.
The closures are necessary for crews to install permanent striping. All work is weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
