LANE/RAMP CLOSURE: I-20 westbound at Exit 19A (Spring/Market), Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023, the Spring/Market off-ramp (Exit 19A) from I-20 westbound in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed to allow the contractor to make repairs to the crash attenuator at this location.
This ramp is scheduled to be reopened by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11th.
A crash attenuator, also known as an impact attenuator, is a device intended to reduce the damage to structures, vehicles, and lessen injuries to motorists resulting from a collision. These devices are designed to absorb the colliding vehicle’s energy.
Restrictions/Permits: Total ramp closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
