REMINDER: DOTD to host public meeting for I-20 widening project in Monroe
MONROE, La. – Today, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will conduct an open house public meeting for the I-20 widening project from US 165 to east of Garrett Road in Monroe.
The proposed project will add an additional lane to I-20 in both directions. The new lanes will be located in the existing I-20 median.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the project improvements and to obtain input from interested parties.
Representatives from DOTD will be available at the open house to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project.
Oral and written comments on the project can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed to the DOTD address shown below, postmarked by Friday, August 11, 2023.
