The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Monday, July 31st, 2023, the right lane of the north bound roadway on US 171 will be closed for approximately 4 days. This closure will be located near Franklin Street in Leesville, Louisiana, and will be approximately 0.25 miles in length. The lane closure is needed to make repairs to a catch basin on the east side of the north bound roadway of US 171.
Permit/Detour Section
The existing roadway will remain open to all local and through traffic with no wide load restrictions. The roadway will be reduced to one lane until all work associated with the catch basin repair is complete.
