Alternating lane closures: Grand Chenier Bridge on LA 82, July 21 and 24-27, 2023 – Cameron Parish

Cameron Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that there will be alternating eastbound and westbound lane closures at the Grand Chenier Bridge on LA 82, starting Friday, July 21, 2023, and Monday, July 24, 2023, through Thursday, July 27, 2023.
Closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m. daily. There will be an 11-foot width restriction during the closures.
The closures are necessary for crews to work on bridge repairs associated with State Project H.014549.
Flagmen will maintain traffic during the closures. Closures are weather dependent.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
