UPDATE: REOPENED - ROAD CLOSURE: LA 518, Claiborne Parish
(UPDATE 8/9/2023): DOTD advises motorists that LA 518 in Claiborne Parish has been reopened. We appreciate your patience as this work was underway.

(Original notification 7/17/2023):
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, a section of LA 518 in Claiborne Parish will be closed.
The closure is located approximately 1,000 feet east of the Webster Parish line.
This closure is necessary to allow DOTD crews to replace a cross drain pipe under the roadway. An update will be issued when a timeline for re-opening the roadway is available.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles must detour.
Alternate Route: US 79 and LA 9
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
