CANCELED!! LA 35 between Louisiana Avenue & US 90, Acadia Parish, Road Closure for Railroad Crossing Repairs

UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN CANCELED!
LA 35 between Louisiana Avenue and US 90 in Acadia Parish will be closed to through traffic on Thursday, June 29 from 6:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
This road closure is necessary to replace railroad crossing.
Emergency vehicles will not have access through the area.
Detour route will consist of I-10 West to LA 1111 South to US 90 East or I-10 East to LA 95 South to US 90 West.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
