Closure: I-10 WB between MP 34.0 and MP 33.3 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that all lanes along Interstate 10 Westbound between Mile Post 34.0 and Mile Post 33.3 will be closed, starting 10 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, until 10 a.m. Sunday, June 25, 2023.
The closure is necessary for mill and paving work.
Detour information:
- Motorists traveling along I-10 WB will be diverted onto I-210 WB at Exit 34.
- The EB I-210 Exit 12 ramp to I-10 WB will remain open to traffic. However, motorists will be shifted away from the I-10 work zone near the end of the ramp.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
