DOTD announces emergency closure of U.S. 167 (Johnston Street) in Lafayette Parish

UPDATE: DOTD announces that the southbound direction of U.S. 167 (Johnston Street) near Marie Antoinette Street is now OPEN to traffic.


LAFAYETTE, La. - DOTD announces that effective immediately, U.S. 167 (Johnston Street), in the southbound direction, is closed near Marie Antoinette Street due to a concrete pavement blow-up.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
