Belle Chasse Bridge & Tunnel Project: Updated Intermittent Lane Closures

BELLE CHASSE, LA. - The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Project announces starting Monday, June 19, 2023, through Saturday, June 24, 2023, the Burmaster right turn from LA 23 will be detoured to the newly constructed J-turn on LA 23 between Dale Avenue and Timber Ridge Drive. Motorists will travel southbound on LA-23 and utilize the Burmaster left turn from LA-23 during this timeframe.
During this timeframe, there will be intermittent lane closures that will take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. during weekdays and between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays. All work is weather permitting.
