*UPDATE*H.13196.6 US 190 Alternating Closures – Pointe Coupee Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that US 190 will have alternating closures both Eastbound and Westbound, beginning on March 11,2024 thru June 22,2024. The alternating closures will be from 0.5 Miles West of LA 978, Bigman Ln. to LA 976.
The closures will take place at the following times:
8:00 PM Monday to 5:00 AM Tuesday
8:00 PM Tuesday to 5:00 AM Wednesday
8:00 PM Wednesday to 5:00 AM Thursday
8:00 PM Thursday to 5:00 AM Friday
8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday
These closures are needed to patch, mill, and overlay the existing roadway.
Permit load restrictions will be up to 12 feet wide; anything over, please contact the permit office.
