Alternating lane closure: I-10 EB and WB between Exit 7 and 8: June 14-17, 2023 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that there will be alternating nighttime lane closures along Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound between Exit 7 and Exit 8, starting Wednesday, June 14, 2023, until Saturday, June 17, 2023.
Schedule:
· 7 p.m. June 14 to 6 a.m. June 15
· 7 p.m. June 15 to 6 a.m. June 16
· 8 p.m. June 16 to 9 a.m. June 17
The closure is necessary for crews to relocate construction entrances and other construction work.
Safety reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
