Alternating lane closures for I-10 WB, just west of the Texas/Louisiana state line: June 9-12, 2023

The Texas Department of Transportation has announced alternating lane closures for the westbound lanes of Interstate 10, just west of the Texas/Louisiana state line, starting 8 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023, through 5 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2023.
Motorists traveling eastbound along I-10 into Louisiana may encounter delays during this time.
The closures are necessary for crews to transfer traffic to new pavement, and to move concrete barrier.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
