Update (6/9/2023): LA 572 in Franklin Parish near the town of Gilbert, Deer Creek Bridge, is open to all vehicular traffic.

(6/8/2023) LA 572 in Franklin Parish near the town of Gilbert, Deer Creek Bridge, approximately 0.17 miles east of US 425 (Recall#049042, Structure#58210821300171) will be closed beginning Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. until further notice while crews complete emergency repairs to the bridge.
Detour: LA 572, west on LA 4, south on LA 128, south on US 425, LA 128.
