Updated: Amended date information for Plaquemines LNG intermittent lane closures (20200 LA 23, Port Sulphur): Construction activity and large equipment deliveries will require temporary road closures on LA 23 near Plaquemines LNG on the following dates: Friday, July 21, Saturday, July 22, Monday, July 24, Wednesday, July 26 thru Saturday, July 29. During this timeframe, intermittent lane closures will occur between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Vehicles equipped with lights will be used to stop traffic, and warning signs will be in place during expected delivery times. Please reduce speed and look for stopped traffic when warning signs are visible. All work is weather permitting. The above schedule is subject to change. We appreciate your patience.
Plaquemines Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces intermittent lane closures on LA 23 near the Plaquemines LNG (20200 LA 23, Port Sulphur) beginning Sunday, July 16, 2023, through Tuesday, July 25, 2023. During the timeframe, intermittent lane closures will occur between 7:30 a.m.-10 a.m. and 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
Vehicles equipped with lights will be used to stop traffic, and warning signs will be in place during expected delivery times. Please reduce speed and look for stopped traffic when warning signs are visible. All work is weather permitting.
