***UPDATE***Cameron Ferry is now OPEN- Cameron Parish
The Cameron Ferry is now OPEN and back in service.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the Cameron Ferry will be out of service until further notice due to mechanical issues.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution though construction sites and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
