UPDATE: Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the left lane of Interstate 10 Westbound near Exit 7 will be closed from 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, until 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
The left lane of Interstate 10 Eastbound near Exit 7 will be closed from 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023, until 6 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023.
The closures are necessary for movement of temporary concrete barriers.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
