ProjectWise Upgrade Notice

***REMINDER***

To all ProjectWise Users,

On May 18th, 2023 we will transition to the new ProjectWise servers. A final backup of the existing ProjectWise server will start on May 18th at 4:30 pm and will be taken offline at this time. The maintenance is expected to last throughout the weekend and ProjectWise services will be unavailable during this time. At the end of the maintenance period, an email will be sent to confirm the ProjectWise server is online and ready for usage.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please check in ALL documents including managed exports that you have checked out of ProjectWise BEFORE 5/18. Any managed exports will be lost if they are not checked back in and there are currently about 1,000 files checked out. This scheduled maintenance is in preparation for the upcoming shutdown of the existing ProjectWise system on 5/18 at 4:30 pm. Our goal is to have 0 files checked out of ProjectWise at the time that the scheduled maintenance period begins (5/18). This is to facilitate an accurate backup of the data on the server. If you do not know how to check in a document, please click on the link https://bit.ly/3pg1J9A that shows you how to do so.

If your section has a shared computer, or you have a take-home laptop, please examine those computers for checked-out documents as well, and check them in appropriately before the scheduled maintenance begins.

May 18th will be the last chance to save your information.

If documents are not checked in by Friday, 5/18/2023 at 4:30 pm central time, the documents will be FREED in ProjectWise. Freeing a document causes the document not to upload the changes to ProjectWise. You will lose all work if you free a document.
