LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy): LA 73(Jefferson Hwy) - Sherwood Forest

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy.) between Sherwood Blvd. and Jefferson Hwy. will have one lane closed alternating Eastbound and Westbound beginning Friday, May 12, 2023 and ending Friday, May 19, 2023.
Weather permitting, the closures will occur at the following times:
• Friday, May 12th at 9:00 pm through Monday, May 15th at 5:00 AM
• Monday, May 15th through Thursday, May 18th;each night from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning
The lane closures are necessary for patching, cleaning and sealing joints, and related work.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
No width restrictions.
