Update (4/25/2023): LA 506 in Caldwell Parish is open to all vehicular traffic.
DOTD appreciates your patience while crews completed repairs to the bridge.
(4/24/2023) LA 506 in Caldwell Parish approximately 0.4 miles west of the intersection of LA 506 and US 165, Black Bayou Bridge (Recall#047120, Structure#581103450307251), will be closed beginning Monday, April 24, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. until Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. in order for crews to complete repairs to the bridge.
Detour: LA 506, south on LA 843, north on US 165, LA 506.
