LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy): LA 73(Jefferson Hwy) - Sherwood Forest

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy.) between Sherwood Blvd. and Jefferson Hwy. will have one lane closed alternating Eastbound and Westbound beginning Friday, April 14, 2023 and ending Friday, April 21, 2023.
Weather permitting, the closures will occur at the following times:
• Friday, April 14th at 9:00 pm through Monday, April 17th at 5:00 AM
• Monday, April 17th through Thursday, April 20th;each night from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning
The lane closures are necessary for patching, cleaning and sealing joints, and related work.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
No width restrictions.
