H.015022.6 LA 976 and LA 81 Closure – Pointe Coupee Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 976 and LA 81 will have alternating closures, beginning on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, and will continue thru May 12th, 2023. The lane closures will be from US 190 to LA 81 on LA 976, and will be a half mile in each direction from the LA 976\LA 81 intersection on LA 81.
The traveling public should follow the signed detour route for the closure on LA 976. Flaggers will be in place to aid in guiding traffic through the workzone on LA 81.
The closures will take place from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day.
This closure is needed to mill, perform base work, and overlay the roadway.
Permit load restrictions will be up to 12 feet wide; anything over, please contact the permit office.
