NOW OPEN: LA 148 east of Eros in Jackson Parish

*****UPDATE: LA 148 EAST OF EROS HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.*****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Saturday, April 15, 2023, LA 148 will be closed 5.4 miles east of LA 34, east of Eros, in Jackson Parish. This road will remain closed until approximately Sunday, April 16, 2023.
The purpose of this road closure is to allow for the necessary replacement of a cross drain pipe.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
