The planned intermittent lane closures on LA 23 near Plaquemines LNG (20200 LA 23, Port Sulphur, LA 70083) on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, will take place from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. only. Originally, the lane closures were scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m.
Plaquemines Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development accounces that beginning Monday, March 20, 2023, through Tuesday, March 21, 2023, construction activity and large equipment deliveries will require temporary road closures on LA 23 near Plaquemines LNG (20200 Hwy 23, Port Sulphur, 70083). During this timeframe, there will be intermittent lane closures that will take place between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Monday and 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
Vehicles equipped with lights will be used to stop traffic, and warning signs will be in place during expected delivery times. Please reduce speed and look for stopped traffic when warning signs are visible. All work is weather permitting.
