LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy): LA 73(Jefferson Hwy) - Sherwood Forest

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy.) between Sherwood Blvd. and Jefferson Hwy. will have one lane closed alternating Eastbound and Westbound beginning Friday, March 3, 2023 and ending Friday, March 10, 2023.
Weather permitting, the closures will occur at the following times:
• Friday, March 3rd at 9:00 pm through Monday, March 6th at 5:00 AM
• Monday, March 6th through Friday, March 10th;each night from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning
The lane closures are necessary for installation of sidewalk and handicapped ramps.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
No width restrictions.
