The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that Ernest Wilson Road near the LA-1 Intracoastal Bridge will have a flagging operation on Friday, March 3rd, 2023, from 6:30am to 4:30pm and a full road closure beginning Saturday, March 4th at 6:30am to Sunday, March 5th at 7:00pm.
The flagging operation and road closure is necessary to unload and erect a crane, install the final concrete girders, and demobilize the crane at Ernest Wilson Road for the new Southbound LA-1 Bridge.
