LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy): LA 73(Jefferson Hwy) - Sherwood Forest

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy.) between US 61 (Airline Hwy) and Jefferson Hwy. will have one lane closed alternating Eastbound and Westbound beginning Saturday, February 25, 2023 and ending Friday, March 3, 2023.
Weather permitting, the closures will occur at the following times:
• Saturday, February 25th and Sunday, February 26th from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Monday, February 27th through Friday, March 3rd;each night from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning
The lane closures are necessary for installation of sidewalk and handicapped ramps.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
No width restrictions.
