LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy): LA 73(Jefferson Hwy) - Sherwood Forest

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy.) between US 61 (Airline Hwy) and Jefferson Hwy. will have one lane closed alternating Eastbound and Westbound beginning Saturday, February 18, 2023 and ending Friday, February 24, 2023.
Weather permitting, the closures will occur at the following times:
• Saturday, February 18th and Sunday, February 19th from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Monday, February 20th through Friday, February 24th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The lane closures are necessary for installation of sidewalk and handicapped ramps.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
No width restrictions.
