LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy): LA 73(Jefferson Hwy) - Sherwood Forest

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy.) between Jefferson Hwy. and US 61 (Airline Hwy) will have one lane closed Eastbound beginning Monday, February 6, 2023 and ending Sunday, February 12, 2023.
Weather permitting, the closures will occur at the following times:
• Monday, February 6th through Friday, February 10th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Saturday, February 11th and Sunday, February 12th from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
The lane closures are necessary for installation of sidewalk and handicapped ramps.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
No width restrictions.
