US 90 Eastbound and Westbound between Berwick Road and Federal Avenue, St. Mary Parish - Lane Closures

US 90 eastbound and westbound in Berwick/Morgan City will be closed to all traffic between Berwick Road and Federal Avenue beginning on Friday, January 27 from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., weather permitting.
The left lanes in each direction will be re-opened to all traffic between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The US 90 eastbound entrance ramp from LA 182 in Berwick will be closed, as well as the US 90 westbound entrance ramp at Federal Avenue.
The closures are necessary to allow sign crews to remove an overhead sign truss.
The detour route for PASSENGER VEHICLES ONLY headed eastbound will be to use the Berwick exit to LA 182 and re-enter US 90 at LA 70/9th Street.
The detour route for PASSENGER VEHICLES ONLY headed westbound will be to use Exit 175 to LA 182 and re-enter US 90 in Berwick.
THERE WILL BE NO DETOUR FOR TRUCKS. All trucks must wait on US 90 until a time when the left lane in each direction can be re-opened to traffic.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area until a time when the left lane in each direction can be re-opened. Delays can be expected.
