LA 23 Short Term Lane Closure Between Dale Ave. & Engineers Rd.

Belle Chasse - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces short-term intermittent lane closures starting Friday, January 13, 2023, through Saturday, January 14, 2023. The lane closures will affect southbound traffic on LA 23 between Dale Avenue and Engineers Rd.
The lane closure on Friday, January 13, 2023, will take place between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. while crews remove the jersey barriers from the Algiers Outfall Canal Bridge.
The lane closure on Saturday, January 14, 2023, will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. as crews install concrete pavement adjacent to southbound LA 23 travel lanes.
The work is in preparation for the new Belle Chasse Bridge.
