Temporary closure on LA 108 (Cities Service Hwy.) Jan. 21-22, 2023 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that LA 108 (Cities Service Hwy.) will be closed just north of Federick Road from 7 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023, through 7 a.m. Sunday January 22, 2023.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform railroad crossing repairs.
The following detours will be in place to assist motorists.
Traveling on LA 108 (south of Frederick Road)
Travel southbound on LA 108, to LA 108 westbound to LA 27 northbound to Interstate 10
Traveling on LA 1133
Travel northbound on LA 1133, to LA 108 westbound to LA 27 northbound to Interstate 10

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
