LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy): LA 73(Jefferson Hwy) - Sherwood Forest

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 426 (Old Hammond Hwy.) between US 61 (Airline Hwy) and Sherwood Blvd. will have one lane closed alternating Eastbound and Westbound beginning Saturday, December 17, 2022 and ending Friday, December 23, 2022.
Weather permitting, the closures will occur at the following times:
• Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, December 18th from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Monday, December 19th through Friday, December 23rd from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The lane closures are necessary for installation of sidewalk and handicapped ramps.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
No width restrictions.
