Calcasieu Parish -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be alternating lane closures along Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound, starting Tuesday, December 20, 2022, through Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
Updated Closure schedule:
12-20-22 through 12-21-22
8 p.m.-9:30 p.m. I-10 Eastbound Right Lane
9:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. I-10 Eastbound Left Lane
11:30 p.m.-2:30 a.m. I-10 Westbound Left Lane
2:30 a.m.-5 a.m. I-10 Westbound Right Lane
The closures, located on Calcasieu River Bridge approaches, are necessary for crews to upgrade cameras along that stretch of I-10.
