Calcasieu Parish -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that there will be alternating closures of the left and right lanes along US 171 Southbound from Mile Post 5.1 to Mile Post 4.0, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2022.
These closures are necessary for bridge cleaning and painting work. There is an 11-foot width restriction.
