The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be nightly lane closures along Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound from Milepost 28.7 (Calcasieu River Bridge) to Milepost 33.5 (Kayouche Coulee), starting Thursday, December 1, 2022, through Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Remaining closure schedule:- I-10 Westbound Right Lane -- 8 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2022, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
The closures are necessary to repair the high friction surface treatment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
