NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) invite all interested parties to attend an open house public hearing on the proposed I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge Improvements Project in Calcasieu Parish. Representatives of LADOTD and the project team will be present to provide information relative to the general location and design features of the roadway, the relocation assistance program, and the environmental impacts of the proposed project. The date, time and location are listed below.
I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge Open House Public Hearing

The public hearing will consist of an open house portion from 5:00-6:30 pm where the public is invited to view project information at their convenience and ask questions of the project team. Comments will be accepted during the open house at the comment station. Following the open house portion, a moderated session will be held from 6:30–7:00 pm for those wishing to provide oral statements to the project team and those in attendance. The information presented at the public hearing will also be available online at https://www.i10lakecharles.com, on or before the public hearing date. Comments received at the hearing, or received on or before December 23, 2022, will be included in the hearing transcript.

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY
The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the project is available for review at the LADOTD District Office in Lake Charles, local libraries in Lake Charles, Westlake, and Sulphur, and online at www.i10lakecharles.com. The Draft EIS will also be available for review at the public hearing. The public comment period for the Draft EIS will close on January 3, 2023. Comments may be submitted by mail or email at the addresses provided below.
After the public comment period closes on January 3, 2023, FHWA will issue a single document that consists of the Final EIS and Record of Decision (ROD) unless statutory criteria or practicability considerations preclude issuance of a combined document. All comments received through January 3, 2023, will be addressed in the combined Final EIS and ROD.
