DOTD announces upcoming safety project on various routes in Acadia Parish

ACADIA PARISH, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that beginning November 7, 2022, work will begin on a $627,932.85 project to install new roadway safety enhancements on various routes in Acadia Parish.
Work includes permanent signs and pavement markings within curves.
This project includes the following routes:
- Ebenezer Rd.
- Leroy Breaux Rd.
- Lovell St.
- Perchville Rd.
- Quarter Pole Rd.
- Allie Young Rd.
- Alphonse Ln.
- Bearcat Rd.
- Cloday Menard Rd.
- Istre Rd.
- Jeff Davis Ave.
- Link Rd.
- Ohlenforst Rd.
- Plaquemine St.
- Pousson Rd.
- St. Claire Rd.
- Wild Turkey Rd.
Work is expected to take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., weather permitting.
Intermittent lane closures will be necessary to perform the work in each area. Drivers should expect some delays.
The project is estimated for completion in January 2023.
