I-12 Eastbound [Ramps at I-55 Interchange], Tangipahoa Parish -- Roadwork (Road Construction) H.012457
On Monday, October 17, 2022 and on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, there will be nightly right lane closures on I-12 Eastbound at the I-55 Interchange (approximately between MM 38 to MM 39).
These closures will be between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. There will be no vehicle restrictions and emergency vehicles will have access on I-12. Motorists may encounter a moderate delay during this time.
Also on Monday, October 17, 2022 and on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, there will be nightly full ramp closures as follows:
· Full ramp closure of the I-12 Eastbound on-ramp from I-55 Southbound (Exit 29A - Slidell).
· Full ramp closure of the I-12 Eastbound off-ramp to I-55 Northbound (Exit 38B - Jackson).
These ramp closures will also be between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. Motorists and emergency vehicles will NOT have ramp access during these days/hours.
All road and ramp closures on this notice are for crews to install a new sign truss.
Detour Section
Motorists traveling on I-55 Southbound wishing to enter I-12 East (Exit 29A) may take the following exit at LA 22 (Exit 26 - Springfield/Ponchatoula), transition back to I-55 Northbound and follow signs for I-12 East (Exit 29A - Slidell).
Motorists traveling on I-12 East wishing to exit on I-55 North (Exit 38B) may take the following exit at LA 51 BUS (Exit 40 - Hammond/Ponchatoula), transition back to I-12 Westbound and following signs for I-55 North (Exit 38B - Jackson).
