LA 119 AT MAGNOLIA PLANTATION
NATCHITOCHES PARISH
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) is conducting a public meeting for the proposed project on LA 119 at Magnolia Plantation from its intersection with LA 484 southward to LA 1 in Derry, LA. LA 119 is currently closed due to an embankment slide that has compromised the roadway. The purpose of the project is to provide a safe roadway for the residential and farming communities in the area, as well as preserve access to the National Park Service grounds.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties and the public. Representatives from LADOTD will be available to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project throughout the meeting. A short presentation will be given at 6 p.m. describing the project with time for public questions and comments to follow. Verbal comments can also be recorded and written comments can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed or emailed to the LADOTD address shown below, postmarked by Thursday November 10, 2022, to be included in the transcript of this meeting.
