UPDATED: I-12 Eastbound and Westbound, US 190 Eastbound and Westbound [Ramp at US 190], St. Tammany Parish -- Roadwork (Road Construction) H.011152
From Wednesday, October 12, 2022 through Saturday, October 15, 2022, there will be the nightly partial road closures as follows:
· Alternating single lane closures on I-12 Eastbound and Westbound between US 190 (MM 63) and LA 59 (MM 66).
· Alternating single lane closures on US 190 Eastbound and Westbound at the I-12 Overpass.
These road closures will be between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. There will be no vehicle restrictions and emergency vehicles will have access on I-12 and US 190. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
Also from Wednesday, October 12, 2022 through Saturday, October 15, 2022, there will be nightly full ramp closures as follows:
· Full ramp closure of the I-12 Westbound off-ramp to US 190 East (Exit 63A - Mandeville).
These ramp closures will be between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. Motorists and emergency vehicles will NOT have ramp access during these days/hours.
All road and ramp closures are for crews to perform road construction operations.
Detour Section
Motorists traveling on I-12 WB wishing to exit on US 190 East (Exit 63A) may take the previous exit (Exit 63B) and continue on US 190 West, make a legal U-turn and transition to US 190 East.
