UPDATE: REOPENED *** Emergency closure: I-10 Eastbound Right Lane at the Toomey Weigh Station (MM 2.5) -- Calcasieu Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the right lane of I-10 Eastbound near the Toomey Weigh Station (MM 2.5) is now open.
This lane was closed to allow for existing roadway repair within the area.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
