LA 75 Bayou Breaux Temporary Road Open, Iberville Parish

State Project H.009484 LA 75 Bayou Breaux Bridge: This project is in Iberville Parish for a length of 0.205 miles. The type of work required is clearing and grubbing, removal of concrete bridge, grading, drainage structures, milling asphalt concrete, pavement patching, class II base course, lime treatment, asphalt concrete pavement, precast concrete piles, concrete slab span bridge, and related work.
DOTD announces that the LA 75 (Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy) temporary diversion road at Bayou Breaux is now open to the traveling public. This temporary roadway is a signalized, one-way roadway for motorists to access until construction resumes on the proposed bridge. The diversion road is posted at 20 mph and no truck traffic or permitted loads will be able to pass.
A signed detour is still in place in order for trucks, oversized vehicles, and permitted loads to access LA 75 by traveling LA 74 to LA 30 to LA 3115.
