CORRECTION - LANE CLOSURES: LA 538 (Old Mooringsport Rd) at LA 1, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, road work will take place on LA 538 (Old Mooringsport Road) near the intersection with LA 1 in north Shreveport, Caddo Parish.
This work affects the intersection of LA 538 on the west side of LA 1 (see included corrected map) and is to perform repairs to LA 538 as part of a project to overlay LA 538 from US 71 to LA 1.
This work will be performed from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Motorists will be able to access LA 538 from LA 1 (Northwood High School side of LA 538), but traffic wishing to access LA 1 from LA 538 will be detoured.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
Permits/Restrictions: Vehicles accessing LA 1 from LA 538 will need to detour.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
