Road Closure: La. 108 (Cities Service Hwy.) just north of Frederick Road Friday, Aug. 5

CALCASIEU PARISH La. -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced today that La. 108 (Cities Service Hwy.) just north of Frederick Road will be closed on Friday, Aug. 5 from 6 a.m.-7 p.m. The closure is necessary for crews to replace a railroad crossing. The following detours will be in place to assist motorists:
Traveling on La. 108 (east of LA 1133) Travel eastbound then northbound on La. 108 to Interstate 10 Traveling on La. 108 (west of LA 1133) Travel westbound on La. 108, to La. 1256 northbound, to Interstate 10 Traveling on La. 1133 Travel northbound on La. 1133, to La. 108 westbound, to La. 1256 northbound to Interstate 10 This work is related to the $4.9 million overlay project on a 4.99-mile section of La. 27 and La. 108 from La. 1256 to Interstate 10 in Calcasieu Parish.
