The Cameron Ferry closure time has been increased to approximately 10 hours due to location of part for replacement.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the Cameron Ferry is closed temporarily for mechanical issues.
The closure will be approximately 6 hours and the public will be notified as soon as it reopens.
